Week 6 Updates

Main content start

Welcome back for week 6!

It’s amazing that we are over halfway through the quarter… please applaud yourself- there’s only one month to go! In the coming weeks at Disco, we have plenty of events coming up and hope to see you there.

Welcome Sam!

DisCo would like to give a shout out and warm welcome to our newest Assistant Coordinator, Samantha Isabella Yosuico Dizon!

Sam Dizon (she/her/hers) is beyond ecstatic to be a part of the Stanford DisCo Space as this year’s Assistant Coordinator. She is a current frosh student who loves the color yellow and enjoys all things art (drawing, singing, and music, just to name a few!). Growing up with an Autistic little brother, she’s always had a passion for inclusivity. After learning from the stigmas surrounding neurodiversity in the past, she’s become an active advocate for disabled rights as a whole today. On Instagram, @ArtsBySam, she combines her love for art and advocacy to create calligraphy pieces that uplift Autistic and neurodivergent voices. She is excited to see how she can bring her new ideas, passions, and creativity to the DisCo Space!
