Happy Week 3!

Welcome back everyone to week 3 of the quarter! Hopefully things have settled down a bit as the quarter shifts into high gear. Thank you to all those who joined us at last week’s ice cream social! It was a truly a wonderful, sugar-filled, evening. I hear midterms are fast approaching. This Thursday from 3:00PM-6:00PM our DisCo Hangout will be a BYOS (Bring Your Own Snack) & Study time. Hope to see you there! Drinks will be provided.

Hours of Operation:

Monday: 2:00PM-4:00PM

Tuesday: 10:00AM-5:00PM

Wednesday: 10:15AM-12:00PM

Thursday: 10:00AM-6:00PM

Friday: 10:45AM-12:45PM; 2:00PM-4:00PM

Disability Community Space (DisCo) Assistant Coordinator

Calling all students who are eligible for federal work-study! The Office of Inclusion, Community, and Integrative Learning (ICIL) is still seeking passionate and innovative students to join the DisCo Space team this academic year. The DisCo Student Assistant Coordinator collaborates with professional staff on various projects and maintains the DisCo Space to enhance the student experience. The DisCo Student Assistant Coordinators will work closely with the DisCo Space Program Coordinator. 

The DisCo Space Assistant Coordinator will:

  • Project manage ongoing programs that fall under the DisCo Space umbrella
  • Serve as a member of the DisCo Space team by participating in supervision meetings and giving feedback on regular and ongoing programming
  • Providing administrative support and. utilizing various tools to support the department such as Microsoft Office. Suites, Google Suite, email management, Canva, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned

The Stanford Learning Lab provides learning resources, metacognitive training, and communities. They specialize in evidence-based practices based on learning diversity.
