DisCo Space Assistant Coordinator

Amari Pierce

Amari Pierce (she/her) is a current Junior and one of the DisCo Space’s Assistant Coordinators. She first became involved in disability advocacy while learning about autism and neurodiversity advocacy during quarantine. At Stanford, she helped start the neurodiversity student group NSSP, has worked in the DisCo Space since it's opening year, and is currently working on accessibility plans for this year’s Stanford Powwow.

Amari loves learning of ways to make the world more accessible and spends her time reading about autism research, as well as watching Ghibli movies, listening to Welcome to the Internet by Bo Burnham, and drinking orange juice during her every waking moment.

She is excited to see DisCo’s community blossom this year!
